This is a replica of a Battle Axe from the 16th Century in Germany, this axe was made from metal and wood and the blade has been finished in a silver colour. This particular model of axe was known as Raven Peak, it was used by the cavalry in southern Germany and would usually have a wooden handle. The head of the axe was formed by a long curved beak which gave it the name of Raven Peak, the axe blade was lighter than normal. Relive the Middle Ages with this fantastic replica!
